Jana Kramer bio

Jana Kramer became famous on TV, in which she portrayed Alex on One Tree Hill's last three seasons. The first three albums she released as a singer-songwriter included in episodes of the show, which helped her debut album of the same name in the top 20 in the Billboard 200. Thirty One, her follow-up album, released in 2015, climbed into the Top Ten. In the final decade of her career, she made appearances at Dancing with the Stars. The year was 2021 and the single Doubting Voices came out. Born and raised within Rochester Hills Michigan Jana Rae Kramer was raised on country music. She would later be pursuing a recording career. However, she made her debut acting as an actress, appearing on screen in the indie horror film Dead/Undead when she was still in her teen years. After a few guest appearances for All My Children or CSI: NY, Kramer landed the role of Noelle Davenport in NBC Friday Night Lights in the show's 2nd season 2007-2008. Kramer was next seen on 90210 as Portia Randson in 2008 through 2009 and as Brooke Manning for Entourage 2009. In 2009 she joined One Tree Hill's ensemble in the role of Alex Dupre. Kramer remained in the role until midway through the final season One Tree Hill. Jana Kramer Kramer began her career on One Tree Hill in 2011. The actress signed a contract to Elektra Records during this time and dropped the country-rock single "I Will Not Go Down" during one episode. The song was later featured on Jana Kramer, her debut album that debuted in the year 2012. The track ranked fifth on Billboard Top Country Albums. In the following years Kramer made a career of acting music and acted in films like Heart of the Country 2013 and Country Crush 2016, which appealed directly to her fans. Kramer has released her second studio album, Thirty One in collaboration with Warner Music Nashville, in October of this year. I Got the Boy - an album that was a Top Five Country hit - as well as Steven Tyler, Aerosmith's lead vocalist, singing a duet on the album reach the top ten of the Billboard 200. The two-month stint on Dancing with the Stars 23rd edition ended with her finishing fourth. This was also the season that she landed an adult contemporary smash, with the song Feels Like Christmas featuring Straight No Chaser.
